Share Repurchase Programme
Centrica plc announces that on 29 July 2013, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 492,737 (four hundred and ninety two thousand seven hundred and thirty seven) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 377.4128 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 380.00 pence and 376.30 pence respectively.
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 49,261,491 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,150,668,201 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
