Share Repurchase Programme
Centrica plc announces that on 10 October 2013, it purchased (through Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited) 1,200,000 (one million, two hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 363.25 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 366.60 pence and 360.40 pence respectively.
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 75,859,019 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,124,070,673 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
