RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES
CRH plc announces that on 9th December 2009 it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 76,218 Ordinary Shares at prices between €11.18 and €16.2381 and at prices of £14.1386 and £16.7806 per Ordinary Share.
Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 12,775,058 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 697,710,862.
