BG GROUP plc15 December 2005 BG Group plc announces that on 15th December 2005 it purchased 730,000 of itsordinary shares at a price of 548.4235 pence per share. It is intended that these shares will be held in Treasury. Following the purchase, BG Group plc holds 3,140,000 of its ordinary shares inTreasury and has a total of 3,545,314,135 ordinary shares (excluding shares heldin Treasury) in issue.
