Transaction in Own Shares

Schroders plc today acquired through J.P. Morgan Securities Ltd 145,000 of its non-voting ordinary shares at an average price of 1366.1867 pence per share. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares.

Following the above purchase, Schroders plc holds 3,915,277 non-voting ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of non-voting shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 60,552,382.
