Share Repurchase Programme
Centrica plc announces that on 23 July 2013, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 261,201 (two hundred and sixty one thousand two hundred and one) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 379.9274 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 380.00 pence and 379.70 pence respectively.
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 49,125,421 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,150,804,271 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
