Purchase of own securities

On 23 May 2008, Reckitt Benckiser Group plc acquired from Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited, 95,000 of its ordinary shares at an average price of ‚£29.3015 per ordinary share. These shares will be held as treasury shares.

Following the purchase and non-cancellation of these ordinary shares, the Company has:

1. 10,432,866 shares held as treasury shares ; and

2. 711,935,646 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares)
