EPE Special Opportunities plc announces that, on 8 December 2010, it purchased 11,250 ordinary shares at an average price of 37.25 pence per share. The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury.

Following the purchase of these shares, the Company holds 88,750 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 30,802,911 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
