Transaction in Own Shares

Caledonia Investments plc ("Caledonia") announces that on 12 February 2010 it purchased 11,793 of its own ordinary shares of 5p each at a price of 1507.5025p per share. These shares are to be held in treasury. 

Following the purchase, Caledonia holds 563,230 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has a total of 58,231,551 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding treasury shares) in issue.
