Transaction in Own Shares

The Company announces that on 13 December 2011, pursuant to the general authority granted by shareholders of the Company on 12 August 2011 to make market purchases of its own ordinary shares of 50p each ("Ordinary Shares"), it purchased for cancellation 584,392 Ordinary Shares at a price of 190p per Ordinary Share.
Following the purchase and cancellation, the Company's issued share capital now consists of 19,556,377 Ordinary Shares with voting rights.
Therefore, the above figure of 19,556,377 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
