Share Repurchase Programme
Centrica plc announces that on 20 March 2014, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,000,000 (one million) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 330.1746 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 331.60 pence and 323.30 pence respectively.
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 54,943,065 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,066,475,692 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
