Share Repurchase Programme
Centrica plc announces that on 12 September 2014, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 1,000,000 (one million) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 322.4780 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 324.00 pence and 321.40 pence respectively.
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 70,015,745 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,009,928,281 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
