Transaction in Own Shares

RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that on 8th April 2015, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 92,899 Ordinary Shares at prices of €18.7463 and €18.8545 per Ordinary Share and at a price of £12.9574 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 2,478,657 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 816,087,194.
