Purchase of own shares

Compass Group PLC announces that on 27 November 2015 it purchased 40,000 ordinary shares of 10 5/8 pence each at a price of 1139.0027 pence per share through Barclays Capital Securities Limited.

Compass Group PLC intends to hold the purchased ordinary shares in treasury.

Following the above transaction, Compass Group PLC holds 12,214,244 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 1,644,563,138 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
