TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES
Close Brothers Group plc announces that it has today purchased 134,916 ordinary shares at an average price of 609.49 pence. The highest and lowest price paid for these shares were 619 pence and 604.5 pence respectively. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares for the purpose of satisfying option grants and share awards made under the Company's employee share plans.
Following the purchase of these shares, Close Brothers Group plc holds 2,584,662 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 146,798,262 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
