TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES
Close Brothers Group plc announces that it has today purchased 62,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 479 pence. The highest and lowest price paid for these shares were 486 pence and 472.5 pence respectively. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares for the purpose of satisfying option grants and share awards made under the Company's employee share plans.
Following the purchase of these shares, Close Brothers Group plc holds 5,592,928 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 143,880,238 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
