Transaction in Own Shares

Centaur Media plc announces that on 29 September 2008 it purchased 425,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company at a price of 52 pence per share. These shares will be held in Treasury.

Following the purchase, the Company holds 7,975,000 of its ordinary shares in Treasury and has a total of 142,232,960 ordinary shares (excluding shares held in Treasury) in issue.
