TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES
Close Brothers Group plc announces that it has today purchased 37,168 ordinary shares at an average price of 501 pence. The highest and lowest price paid for these shares were 510.5 pence and 491.75 pence respectively. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares for the purpose of satisfying option grants and share awards made under the Company's employee share plans.
Following the purchase of these shares, Close Brothers Group plc holds 5,681,469 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 143,791,697 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
