Transaction in Own Shares

RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that yesterday, 23rd September 2015, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 17,098 Ordinary Shares at prices between €16.58 and €21.5235 per Ordinary Share and at a price of £11.55 per Ordinary share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 1,310,695 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 822,311,789.
