Diageo PLC24 March 2006 Diageo plc24 March 2006 Diageo plc announces that it has today purchased through Goldman SachsInternational 650,000 ordinary shares at a price of 909.87 pence per share. Thepurchased shares will all be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Diageo plc holds 209,858,111 ordinary shares astreasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding sharesheld as treasury shares) is 2,840,962,808.
