Purchase of Own Securities

WPP announces that on 11 November 2008 it sold 2,000,000 of its ordinary shares at a price of 346.66 pence per ordinary share. All of these shares were previously held as treasury shares.

Following the above sale, WPP no longer holds any shares in Treasury and has 1,174,773,503 ordinary shares in issue.
