TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

The Company has today transferred 1,920,000 Shares from Treasury, for nil consideration, to the Trustee of its Employee Share Trust to satisfy awards made to participants which are due to vest under the LTIP on 2 September 2014.

Following the above transfer, the Company holds 207,048,657 Shares in Treasury and has a total of 3,413,105,388 Shares (excluding Shares held in Treasury) in issue.

This announcement is made pursuant to LR 12.6.4.
