Purchase of own shares

Compass Group PLC announces that on 30 November 2015 it purchased 20,000 ordinary shares of 10 5/8 pence each at a price of 1148.9453 pence per share through Barclays Capital Securities Limited.

Compass Group PLC intends to hold the purchased ordinary shares in treasury.

Following the above transaction, Compass Group PLC holds 12,228,519 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 1,644,548,863 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
