Transaction in own shares

bwin.party announces that on 19 January 2012 it purchased, through an independent third party, 202,023 of its ordinary shares for cancellation at an average price of 167.24 pence per share. The highest price paid was 169.50 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 164.90 pence per share.

Following the above purchase, the Company has now bought back 17,930,963 shares for cancellation, since 6 September 2011 when the buy-back programme commenced. The total number of bwin.party shares in issue is 834,978,308 and the total number of voting rights in issue is 831,839,745 (total number of shares in issue minus 3,138,563 shares held by the employee benefit trust in respect of which the voting rights have been waived).
