Diageo PLC17 November 2005 Diageo plc 17 November 2005 Diageo plc announces that it has today purchased through Goldman SachsInternational 825,000 ordinary shares at a price of 846.51 pence per share. Thepurchased shares will all be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Diageo plc holds 149,004,000 ordinary shares astreasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding sharesheld as treasury shares) is 2,901,463,548.
