Schroders plc announces that on 7 October 2013 it purchased from J.P. Morgan Securities plc 10,145 non-voting ordinary shares ("shares") at an average price of 2143.4843 pence per share. The purchased shares will be cancelled. Following the above purchase, the Company holds 57,954,920 non-voting ordinary shares and has 226,022,400 ordinary shares in issue, the Company holds no shares in Treasury.
