SHARE REPURCHASE PROGRAMME
CRH plc announces that on 14th May 2008, UBS Limited purchased, on behalf of the
Company, 212,476 Ordinary Shares of €0.32 each in CRH plc at prices between
€23.528 and €24.00 per Ordinary Share. The purchased shares will be held as Treasury
Shares.
CRH plc also announces that on 14th May 2008 it transferred to participants in its
employee share schemes 23,003 Ordinary Shares at prices between €17.2615 and
€18.28 per Ordinary Share and £9.06 and £14.37 per Ordinary Share.
Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 10,592,205 Ordinary Shares in
Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is
537,528,231.
