IMI PLC - Transaction in Own Shares

IMI PLC announces that on 28 November 2013 it purchased through Citigroup Global Markets Limited 110,000 ordinary shares of 25p each, at an average price of 1470.67 pence per share. The highest and lowest prices paid for these shares were 1484.00 pence per share and 1459.00 pence per share respectively. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares.

Following the above purchase, IMI PLC holds 29,153,095 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) is 311,813,607.
