Share Repurchase Programme
Centrica plc announces that on 6 August 2014, it purchased (through Barclays Bank PLC) 1,000,000 (one million) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 310.0567 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 311.40 pence and 308.00 pence respectively.
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 63,104,827 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,031,771,565 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
