Purchase of own securities

On 16 May 2008, Reckitt Benckiser Group plc acquired from Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited, 185,000 of its ordinary shares at an average price of ‚£29.7094 per ordinary share. These shares will be held as treasury shares.

Following the purchase and non-cancellation of these ordinary shares, the Company has:

1. 9,706,589 shares held as treasury shares ; and

2. 712,661,923 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares)
