Golden Prospect PLC19 July 2006 Golden Prospect plc Transaction in own shares 19 July 2006 Golden Prospect plc (the "Company") announces that on 14th July 2006 it acquired125,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at anaverage price of 49.6p per share. Furthermore, on the 17th July 2006 the Companypurchased 200,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 50p. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following these purchases, the Company holds 325,000 Ordinary Shares as treasuryshares. The total number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding shares held astreasury shares) is 107,736,208.
