SUBJECT: Transaction in Own Shares - AMENDED
This announcement corrects an error made in an announcement on 5 March 2010.
The Board of Baronsmead VCT 3 plc ("the Company") announces that on 5 March 2010 the Company purchased 500,000 ordinary shares of 10p at a price of 87.0 pence per share to be held in Treasury.
Following the share buyback and the recent issue of 5,601,586 ordinary shares as announced on 1 March 2010, the Company's issued ordinary share capital consists of 65,301,139 of which 5,967,317 are held in Treasury. Therefore the total number of shares with voting rights in Baronsmead VCT 3 plc is 59,333,822 ordinary shares of 10p.
The above figure 59,333,822 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Baronsmead VCT 3 plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
