Of theseShares, 155,317 were purchased on-market from Morgan Stanley at a price of426.6791 pence per Share and 289,004 were purchased off-market directly from GUSHoldings Limited also at a price of 426.6791 pence per share in accordance withthe Agreement dated 14 July 2005 between the Company and GUS plc approved by theCompany's shareholders on 14 July 2005.
