26 January 2006 FirstGroup plc Buyback of 750,000 ordinary shares FirstGroup plc ("the Company") announces that on 26 January 2006 it purchased750,000 ordinary shares of 5p each at an average price of 406.8991 pence pershare. The highest price paid was 407 pence per share.
