Enterprise Inns PLC23 February 2007 23 February 2007 Enterprise Inns plc - Transaction in Own Shares Enterprise Inns plc (the 'Company') announces that it has today purchased forcancellation 600,000 of its ordinary shares at an average price of 656.7582pence per ordinary share. The highest price paid was 660.5 pence per share andthe lowest price paid was 652 pence per share. Following the above purchase the total number of ordinary shares in issue andthe total voting rights in the Company (excluding shares held in treasury) is559,241,993. Of these 11,554,093 shares are held by Employee Trusts and are discounted forearnings per share calculation purposes. In addition to the above 50,000,000 ordinary shares are held as treasury sharesand are also discounted for earnings per share calculation purposes.
