Transaction in own shares

e2v technologies plc (the Company) announces that it has purchased on 3 February 2014, through Investec Bank plc; 190,000 of its ordinary shares of 5 pence each at an average price of 157.64 pence per share. The highest price paid was 159.25 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 157.5 pence per share.

The shares will be held as treasury shares and used to meet options under the Company's Share and Long Term Incentive Plans.

Following the above purchase, the Company now holds 1,946,091 shares in treasury. Excluding the 1,946,091 shares held in treasury, the Company now has 216,817,912 ordinary shares in issue.
