Inchcape plc (the "Company"), the leading premium automotive group, announces that on 15 October 2013 it purchased for cancellation from J.P. Morgan Securities plc 133,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 621.6225 pence per share. Following this purchase, the Company has 465,339,021 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) and holds 2,687,560 ordinary shares in treasury.
