Thehighest price paid was 924 pence per share and the lowest price paid was919.5607 pence per share. Such purchase was effected pursuant to irrevocableinstruction given prior to, and as announced by Enterprise Inns on, 31 March2006 The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares. Following the abovepurchase, Enterprise Inns plc holds 21,677,717 ordinary shares as treasuryshares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held astreasury shares) is 327,827,673.
