Purchase of Own Shares for Cancellation
Charlemagne Capital Limited ("Charlemagne", the "Company") announces that on Wednesday 10 September 2008 it purchased for cancellation 750,000 Ordinary Shares of US$0.01 each in the Company through UBS Limited at a price, before expenses of 28.25 pence.
As a result of this purchase and cancellation, Charlemagne will have 282,265,673 Ordinary Shares of US$0.01 each in issue.
