Transaction in own shares

bwin.party announces that on 13 January 2012 it purchased, through an independent third party, 203,252 of its ordinary shares for cancellation at an average price of 163.02 pence per share. The highest price paid was 165.30 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 161.10 pence per share.

Following the above purchase, the Company has now bought back 17,122,335 shares for cancellation, since 6 September 2011 when the buy-back programme commenced. The total number of bwin.party shares in issue is 835,786,936 and the total number of voting rights in issue is 832,415,761 (total number of shares in issue minus 3,371,175 shares held by the employee benefit trust in respect of which the voting rights have been waived).
