Enterprise Inns plc - Transaction in Own Shares

Enterprise Inns plc (the "Company") announces that on 22nd April 2016, pursuant to the authority given to the Company by its shareholders, and a share repurchase programme with Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch, it purchased for cancellation from Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch 98,743 ordinary shares for which the highest price paid was 94.00 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 90.25 pence per share.

Following the above purchase, the Company has 554,334,873 ordinary shares in issue, including 50,000,000 shares held in treasury. The total voting rights excluding shares held in treasury is now 504,334,873.

The above figure of 504,334,873 ordinary shares may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
