Purchase of own securities

On 8 August 2008, Reckitt Benckiser Group plc acquired from Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited, 50,000 of its ordinary shares at an average price of ‚£27.7056 per ordinary share. These shares will be held as treasury shares.

Following the purchase and non-cancellation of these ordinary shares, the Company has:

1. 11,856,511 shares held as treasury shares ; and

2. 710,512,001 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares)
