DUPD has bought back 243,000 shares
The Company announces that, pursuant to the general authority granted by shareholders of the Company on 31st July 2008 to make market purchases of its own shares, the Company made market purchases totalling 243,000 ordinary shares of 1p each ('Shares') on 25th November 2008 at a price of 35p per Share ("the Purchased Shares"). The Purchased Shares will be cancelled as soon as practicable following the acquisition.
The total amount of Purchased Shares to date acquired under the buy back programme totals 5,693,000. This represents 4% of the number of shares in issue at the beginning of the buy back programme authorised at the EGM on July 31st, 2008 and exhausts the authority granted.
Another EGM will take place on December 1, 2008 at which a vote will be put to shareholders to authorise the buy back of up to 6,491,580 shares. A notice of EGM was posted to shareholders on November 7, 2008.
Following the purchase of the Purchased Shares, the Company has a total of 136,635,716 Shares in issue and with voting rights ("Voting Shares") (after deducting the 243,000 Purchased Shares). The Purchased Shares represent 0.18 per cent of the Voting Shares.
