Share Repurchase Programme
Centrica plc announces that on 6 March 2014, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,000,000 (one million) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 322.5241 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 323.80 pence and 321.70 pence respectively.
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 125,597,364 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,074,332,328 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
