TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES
Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on 12 March 2013 it transferred 2,474 ordinary shares of 25 pence each from treasury to participants in its employee share plans. The transfer price was 616 pence. Following the transfer of these shares, the Company holds 3,069,761 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 147,537,083 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
