TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

International Personal Finance plc announces that on 1 August 2012 it purchased for cancellation 87,300 ordinary shares at an average price of 284.1741 pence per share. The highest price paid per share was 287 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 281 pence.

International Personal Finance plc confirms that:

·; on 25 July 2012 the highest price paid per share was 258.30 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 255.40 pence;

·; on 26 July 2012 the highest price paid per share was 263.90 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 255.80 pence;

·; on 27 July 2012 the highest price paid per share was 266.30 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 266.00 pence; and

·; on 31 July 2012 the highest price paid per share was 281.90 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 280.00 pence.
