Howden Joinery Group Plc - Transaction in Own Shares
Howden Joinery Group Plc (the "Company") announces that on 1 September 2015 it purchased through UBS Limited the following number of its ordinary shares at an average price of 476.13p per share:

Highest purchase price paid per share: | 478.70p |
Lowest purchase price paid per share: | 471.90p |
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above transaction, the Company holds 4,500,000 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 647,330,815 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
