19 January 2006 FirstGroup plc Buyback of 255,911 ordinary shares FirstGroup plc ("the Company") announces that on 19 January 2006 it purchased255,911 ordinary shares of 5p each at an average price of 409.3076 pence pershare. The highest price paid was 410 pence per share.
