Of theseShares, 100,000 were purchased on-market from Morgan Stanley at a price of428.7920 pence per Share and 186,027 were purchased off-market directly from GUSHoldings Limited also at a price of 428.7920 pence per share in accordance withthe Agreement dated 14 July 2005 between the Company and GUS plc approved by theCompany's shareholders on 14 July 2005.
