BP PLC11 September 2007 BP p.l.c. - Transaction in Own SharesBP p.l.c. - 11 September 2007 BP p.l.c. announces that on 10 September 2007, it purchased for cancellation2,190,000 ordinary shares at prices between 556.50 pence and 565.50 pence pershare. BP p.l.c. also announces that on 10 September 2007 it transferred toparticipants in its employee share schemes 332,027 ordinary shares at pricesbetween 386.0 pence and 452.0 pence. These shares were previously held astreasury shares. Following the above transactions, BP p.l.c. holds 1,942,142,012 ordinary sharesin Treasury, and has 19,041,344,663 ordinary shares in issue (excluding Treasuryshares).
